Katie Karczewski’s numbers speak for themselves: she consistently ranks in the top one percent of agents statewide. A partner at Keller Williams of Grand Rapids East, Grand Rapids North, Holland, and Traverse City, Katie also holds membership in the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors. Her dedication to hard work, integrity, creativity, and her passion for people and the business are key factors in her ability to help clients buy and sell homes.



Despite her accolades and accomplishments, when clients work with Katie, they get so much more than numbers and accreditations. Katie loves working with clients and takes a very personalized approach to real estate. She believes that when it comes to choosing a home, there’s no such thing as one-size fits-all.



The most important part of the home buying process for Katie, and her team, is understanding how clients live and helping them find the home that’s the best fit for them, whether that’s on multiple acres in the woods, in a close-knit neighborhood, on Lake Michigan, or elsewhere. The Katie K team works tenaciously to find clients the home they’ll love. More than once, they’ve used their knowledge of the market and local connections to help clients purchase homes that weren’t even on the market. The first girl born into her father’s family in 5 generations, Katie grew up with 6 brothers and learned to stand her ground and negotiate early on. She carried those lessons into adulthood. Clients can count on Katie to be honest, pragmatic, offer guidance, and negotiate the best deal.



One of Katie’s favorite things about Grand Rapids is the culture of philanthropy and the generosity of its residents. She loves helping newcomers find opportunities to get involved and make a difference. Katie’s been involved with the community in numerous ways, including (but not limited to) the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, Junior League of Grand Rapids, and Broadway Grand Rapids. She’s also a Trustee on the Foundation Board for St. Mary’s Hospital.



Originally from Traverse City, Michigan, Katie raised her three sons in East Grand Rapids, where she feels they received an excellent public education that prepared them well for college and their eventual careers. Now grown, her sons and their families remain an integral part of her life. She’s a proud “KK” to her grandchildren and she loves to visit them at their homes in California, New York, and Vermont. In her free time, Katie’s committed to staying active. She enjoys both summer and winter sports, the beauty of Lake Michigan and the magnificence of the Colorado Rockies.
